Vince Tamás showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Green Squad FC's Danilo Loyola suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Szőnyi during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Attila Szőnyi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Lúcio da Cunha's late challenge caught a Sporting Savaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio da Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Green Squad FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio da Cunha. Hugo Diniz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Zsombor Bodonyi sent off a good shot on target. Zsombor Bodonyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Hugo Diniz made a huge save. In the 30th minute Luís Gustavo de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dániel Székely saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Green Squad FC's Luís Gustavo de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dániel Székely made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Gustavo de Salles was the one to do the kick off. Hugo Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zsombor Bodonyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Dániel Székely had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Gustavo de Salles. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Savaria's zone, Tarcisio Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dániel Székely came out of the goal and Tarcisio Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Gustavo de Salles in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dániel Székely, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 61st minute, Luís Gustavo de Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dániel Székely was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Green Squad FC's Tarcisio Velloso quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vince Tamás, made in the 70th minute of the game. Dániel Székely made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Luís Gustavo de Salles sent off a good shot on target. Luís Gustavo de Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dániel Székely having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lúcio da Cunha in the 81st minute of play forced Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Dániel Székely to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dániel Székely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Gaspar in the 83rd minute of play. When the match was over Green Squad FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sporting Savaria throughout the match.
