In the 5th minute, Gualterio Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Rinaldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Jorrin having to interfere. A collision led to Cura del Futbol getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eulalio Blanco hit a great ball. Natalio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Cura del Futbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Jorrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nereo Rodas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Rodas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Jorrin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st match minute, Cura del Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Esiquio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cura del Futbol's zone, Justino Quinito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Jorrin came out of the goal and Justino Quinito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Jorrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Rodas in the 35th minute of the match. When %teams%'s Justino Quinito was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-0 just inside the left pole, 36 minutes into the game. Honorato Jorrin was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Santikurtz in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Mitxaut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Cura del Futbol fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Cura del Futbol's Melquiades Rosalio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Rinaldi was the one to do the kick off. SAN LORENZO FC's Natalio Mitxaut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Santikurtz in the 58th minute of play. Justino Quinito struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Honorato Jorrin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Melquiades Rosalio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Rosalio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Mitxaut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SAN LORENZO FC's Ruperto Erlantz was substituted for Justino Quinito. SAN LORENZO FC's Casimiro Jenaro was substituted for Aristides Castel. When Joel Leoncio came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cura del Futbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Leoncio couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Cura del Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Bordat. The supporters of Cura del Futbol booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Jenaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Jorrin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Rodas in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Santikurtz came free, but Natalio Mitxaut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Erviti hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Chants of Cura del Futbol echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SAN LORENZO FC had held the ball for most of the match.
