Oflador FC 2003's Jaime Misael quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Rafael Santos Borré struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Anibal Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tristán Suárez FC. The supporters of Oflador FC 2003 booed when Tristán Suárez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernand Hierro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tristán Suárez FC's zone, Jimeno Eutor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro Mello came out of the goal and Jimeno Eutor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes into the game, Jaime Misael threw the ball into play from the sideline. After 25 played minutes Tristán Suárez FC got a freekick which was hit by Güneş İmroz. A sloppy throw-in by Jaime Misael in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Tristán Suárez FC's Fabricio Rivero. Jimeno Eutor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Alessandro Mello when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute of the match Oflador FC 2003 got a corner. Tristán Suárez FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimeno Eutor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alessandro Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 46th minute, Honorato Ederono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victoriano Cruz made a kick off. Alessandro Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tristán Suárez FC's Rafael Santos Borré got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tristán Suárez FC's Desiderio Baumer was substituted for Honorato Ederono. After 60 played minutes Tristán Suárez FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Santos Borré. Jimeno Eutor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Jimeno Eutor made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Mello. Tristán Suárez FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Oflador FC 2003's Jaime Misael quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fabricio Rivero, made in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute, Desiderio Baumer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anibal Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Tristán Suárez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Eutor came free, but Alessandro Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Oflador FC 2003 fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Oflador FC 2003's Jimeno Eutor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute Jimeno Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Oflador FC 2003 were the better team. Oflador FC 2003's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
