Dániel Székely came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by SAN LORENZO FC's Aristides Castel. But to his dismay, Aristides Castel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Castel in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dániel Székely saved Sporting Savaria from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Aristides Castel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Savaria's Dániel Székely. Dániel Székely was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dániel Székely showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Castel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Ismael Ticho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Castel in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dániel Székely saved Sporting Savaria from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rajmund Markos in the 19th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Natalio Mitxaut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Castel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Aristides Castel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dániel Székely made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Dániel Székely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sporting Savaria's Mózes Medve got a free kick in the 40th minute. Dániel Székely didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Castel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goal looked a bit too open when Walter Erviti came free, but Dániel Székely reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Savaria's Dániel Székely played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Castel in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Kovács to make the kick off. Vince Tamás kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Savaria's zone, Federico Eleazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dániel Székely came out of the goal and Federico Eleazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Castel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dániel Székely having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walter Erviti got free with Dániel Székely in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59thth minute of the game Aristides Castel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Savaria's Dániel Székely was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dániel Székely tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SAN LORENZO FC's Casimiro Jenaro was substituted for Aristides Castel. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Ruperto Erlantz replaced Justino Quinito. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Dániel Székely successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Sporting Savaria defense, Casimiro Jenaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dániel Székely. The Sporting Savaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dániel Székely should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Jenaro in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dániel Székely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the game, Jorge Rinaldi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dániel Székely. Jorge Rinaldi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Dániel Székely made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Walter Erviti sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, SAN LORENZO FC's Casimiro Jenaro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Sporting Savaria's Dániel Székely proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Savaria from getting a goal against them. Attila Szőnyi hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Casimiro Jenaro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dániel Székely. That made the score 0-9 in the 92 minute of play. Dániel Székely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Jenaro in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Sporting Savaria's goalkeeper Dániel Székely had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Casimiro Jenaro. SAN LORENZO FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
