The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radowit Niewiadomski hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, Ksawery Gall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the GREEK ARMY defense, Avram Rizescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Themos Batiropoulos. The GREEK ARMY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Themos Batiropoulos should have stopped the shot. Marios Dermitzoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Eusebiu Pescaru made a huge save. Themos Batiropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avram Rizescu's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. If Avram Rizescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Themos Batiropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avram Rizescu in the 19th minute of the match. Eusebiu Pescaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marios Dermitzoglou in the 24th minute. After 25 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Zindros. In the 27th minute, Avram Rizescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Themos Batiropoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 33 minutes, Radowit Niewiadomski made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. GREEK ARMY's Themos Batiropoulos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Themos Batiropoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Niewiadomski, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Avram Rizescu took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Themos Batiropoulos. Themos Batiropoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

Wladyslaw Skorny received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Themos Batiropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Avram Rizescu lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Themos Batiropoulos. Themos Batiropoulos came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Fragmenty Nietoperzy's Avram Rizescu. But to his dismay, Avram Rizescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Themos Batiropoulos was a little too slow when Radowit Niewiadomski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-8. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Bon Culot got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 68 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Bon Culot. If Jaroslaw Miodek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Themos Batiropoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Avram Rizescu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Caradaro Teijeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Walery Przewozik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fragmenty Nietoperzy's supporters rose to their feet, but Walery Przewozik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Themos Batiropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Stamatis Zindros got a free kick in the 81st minute. Avram Rizescu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Themos Batiropoulos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Themos Batiropoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Rizescu in the 87th minute of play. Avram Rizescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Themos Batiropoulos made a huge save. Fragmenty Nietoperzy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
