The corner led MAZER SAF's Augusto Sein to fire away a dangerous shot which Gazi Açıkgün despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mário Mattos's late challenge caught a ÜSTEĞMEN FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Mattos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Gazi Açıkgün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdi Sökmensu came free, but Ismael Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ÜSTEĞMEN FK defense, Laurgain Ruiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gazi Açıkgün. The ÜSTEĞMEN FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gazi Açıkgün should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurgain Ruiz made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jardel Junior got free with Gazi Açıkgün in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erkin Cangiray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Almeida hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Augusto Sein scored 0-4 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gazi Açıkgün, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MAZER SAF's Rafa Alves was substituted for Jardel Junior. 68 minutes into the match, ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Castro came free, but Gazi Açıkgün reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Evaristo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rafa Alves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Augusto Sein took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Gazi Açıkgün to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gazi Açıkgün saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Sein might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gazi Açıkgün. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Sein ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Gazi Açıkgün managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when MAZER SAF's Rafa Alves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ismael Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Süleyman Soyselçuk went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, ÜSTEĞMEN FK's goalkeeper Gazi Açıkgün had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Alves. MAZER SAF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
