An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Colas in the 23rd minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Stefan Orlicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Efraim kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Stefan Orlicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Colas in the 29th minute of play. Prospero Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyn Lawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. When Federico Colas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Gallardo y Biscay FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Colas couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute Tigre were awarded a corner. Arnaldo Lore went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Tigre's Arnaldo Lore to fire away a dangerous shot which Prospero Maju despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ramiro Montrelle hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Tigre's Stefan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Colas in the 40th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Stefan Orlicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Federico Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Orlicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute Genaro Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Colas in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stefan Orlicki saved Tigre from getting behind. Stefan Orlicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Colas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Celedonio Ugaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Miguel Borja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gallardo y Biscay FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Borja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Orlicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gallardo y Biscay FC fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Gallardo y Biscay FC's Miguel Borja looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
