Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucas Baladi started the match with the kick off. Oliver Manduca kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, NECKER49's Lucas Baladi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jason Haber came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NECKER49 reached it. 13 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Romeo Hulberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jason Haber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jason Haber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If David Terribile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Haber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Astudillo in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Urpani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, NECKER49's Higinio Reynardo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Higinio Reynardo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of NECKER49 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Higinio Reynardo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. NECKER49:s Keylor Navas showed great skill when he stopped Brian Urpani:s penalty. Jason Haber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Ardiles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. NECKER49's Bongky Dermawan was substituted for Romeo Hulberto. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Austin Gatt hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Gatt came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldo Ardiles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jason Haber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NECKER49's Nicanor Vidal was substituted for Osvaldo Ardiles. NECKER49 made a substitution. Victor Kiliz replaced Lucas Baladi. Floriana Celtics's Malcolm Hili was substituted for Austin Gatt. After a defensive mix-up in Floriana Celtics's zone, Nicanor Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Haber came out of the goal and Nicanor Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jason Haber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bongky Dermawan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keylor Navas came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani. But to his dismay, Brian Urpani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 81 minutes Floriana Celtics's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fausto Asur who took care of the corner kick. The corner led NECKER49's Fausto Asur to fire away a dangerous shot which Jason Haber despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Nicanor Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NECKER49's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floriana Celtics the free kick. A collision led to Floriana Celtics getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Malcolm Hili hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Floriana Celtics's zone, Bongky Dermawan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Haber came out of the goal and Bongky Dermawan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Nicanor Vidal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jason Haber. Floriana Celtics's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Vidal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. David Terribile hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The NECKER49 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NECKER49 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
