Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) GeRaÇãO-83's Medero Gadea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner ended in Per-Oskar Ekgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor did a great save. GeRaÇãO-83's Per-Oskar Ekgren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cipriano Abad in the 10 minute of the game. Edin Džekos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Anier Oidor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Medero Gadea received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anier Oidor came out and tried to block the shot, but Medero Gadea slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Anier Oidor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edin Džeko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. If Medero Gadea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anier Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Gadea in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Medero Gadea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anier Oidor was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medero Gadea in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Medero Gadea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Anier Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Edin Džeko dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anier Oidor, 3-0. In the 27th minute Celestino Toro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edin Džeko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Oidor having to make a save. With a little luck, San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Anier Oidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edin Džeko. In the 37th minute Medero Gadea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edin Džeko in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edin Džeko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anier Oidor having to make a save. Anier Oidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edin Džeko in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute GeRaÇãO-83 were awarded a corner. Per-Oskar Ekgren went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Per-Oskar Ekgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor did a great save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Edin Džeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anier Oidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edin Džeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 59 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Anier Oidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Oidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edin Džeko's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Anier Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Gadea in the 63rd minute of play. San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Edin Džeko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anier Oidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After some careless play in the San Lorenzo defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Oidor. The San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Oidor should have stopped the shot. If Edin Džeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anier Oidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edin Džeko in the 76th minute of play. Edin Džeko struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Anier Oidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GeRaÇãO-83. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medero Gadea in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anier Oidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80thth minute of the game Medero Gadea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Anier Oidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edin Džeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 minutes of play, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anier Oidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Lorenzo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GeRaÇãO-83.
