Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sotiris Vergos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 毛迅明 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Branco FC's corner Leonides Eriz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and 毛迅明 quite easily take care of the ball. 刘坤轩 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Esteban Iigo made a huge save. In the 36th minute Jessie Nangam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 毛迅明 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Evaristo Jago's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 毛迅明 was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Evaristo Jago put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of 毛迅明. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed 陶国川 the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 苍穹拓荒者队 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and 陶国川 had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of 苍穹拓荒者队:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Branco FC:s goal. 毛迅明 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sotiris Vergos's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Jessie Nangam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 毛迅明 came out and tried to block the shot, but Jessie Nangam slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 97th minute. In the 99th minute, Sotiris Vergos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of 毛迅明. The goal made the score 0-15. Branco FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
