After 2 minutes, Ferdinando Tatangelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torino F.C. and the Valdieri players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Ferdinando Tatangelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurelio Di Lullo was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Ennio Di Marzio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ennio Di Marzio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 11 minutes, Eraldo Gallo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torino F.C. and the Valdieri players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Torino F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Gallo. Attilio Fortunato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Pocobello having to interfere. If Davide Lo Iacono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Edoardo Cabrini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Torino F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Torino F.C. booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Cabrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davide Lo Iacono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Elia Cicchini fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdieri's protests and gave Elia Cicchini a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Elia Cicchini hit a great ball. Fulvio Bozzelli charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fulvio Bozzelli the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Torino F.C. booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Bozzelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Tatangelo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torino F.C.. Edoardo Cabrini kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. During the 39th minute of the match Edoardo Cabrini completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edoardo Cabrini a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 39th minute, Edoardo Cabrini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Fortunato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elia Cicchini got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Ferdinando Tatangelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Fortunato was the one to do the kick off. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinando Tatangelo in the 69th minute of play. When Attilio Fortunato came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Valdieri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Fortunato couldn't finish the play. When Davide Lo Iacono fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Torino F.C.'s protests and gave Davide Lo Iacono a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Torino F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Davide Lo Iacono hit a great ball. Attilio Fortunato was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Valdieri's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 95 minutes into the match, Ferdinando Tatangelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdinando Tatangelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Davide Lo Iacono got his second yellow card in the match during the 99th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 100 played minutes Torino F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Davide Lo Iacono. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Torino F.C. fully deserved thier win.
