Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Felipe Galindo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper John Locke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulino Gonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Locke having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Jorge Villagra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Cordarrell scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Hibai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 23rd minute, Felipe Galindo made a precise shot to the right of John Locke. SAN LORENZO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Gonzo in the 28th minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper John Locke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlethico Talleres's zone, Marcelo Michael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Hibai came out of the goal and Marcelo Michael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Primitivo Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Manuel Hibai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SAN LORENZO FC. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Cordarrell made a kick off. Manuel Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 51st minute of play. Manuel Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Jatsu in the 53rd minute of the match. Ciriaco Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Hibai having to interfere. A collision led to Club Atlethico Talleres getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Felipe Galindo hit a great ball. If Ciriaco Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ciriaco Cordarrell sped through Club Atlethico Talleres's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Hibai. In the 66th minute, Ciriaco Cordarrell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Ruperto Erlantz replaced Justino Quinito. Ciriaco Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Manuel Hibai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Club Atlethico Talleres was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Villagra to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Gustavo Matosas got a free kick in the 80th minute. SAN LORENZO FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Club Atlethico Talleres's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Michael took the corner. The corner ended in Marcelo Michael almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Atlethico Talleres's Manuel Hibai did a great save. Club Atlethico Talleres's Manuel Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Castel in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Felipe Galindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but John Locke was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Castel in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Hibai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aristides Castel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SAN LORENZO FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
