After 9 played minutes Alijilán returns got a freekick which was hit by Angel Leguizamón. When Edu Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Kröll BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edu Cardozo couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Olayo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Félix in the 20th minute of play forced Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastián Trejos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Garate, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sebastián Trejos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Garate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Edu Cardozo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lino Naelio. Cesar Sagrario ran back to his position shaking his head. Kröll BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Saul Iruinea scored to the left of an out of position Sebastián Trejos, making the score, 1-2. In the 38th minute, Eric Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kröll BK's Sebastián Trejos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kröll BK from getting a goal against them. Sebastián Trejos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Iruinea in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Iruinea got free with Sebastián Trejos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After a rather tough play, Alijilán returns's Cesar Sagrario got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Edu Cardozo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Alijilán returns's Lino Naelio. Lino Naelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lino Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Alijilán returns's goalkeeper Lino Naelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Félix. Lino Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Cardozo in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Olayo to maneuver through the defense. Michel Hedvall took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lino Naelio. Lino Naelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6.
