Ozzy Falkingham might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michel Hendrickx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ozzy Falkingham ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ozzy Falkingham in the 20th minute of play forced Olavarria FC's goalkeeper Michel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Isaias Matas sped through Sansargiller FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihai Oancea. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Matas to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihai Oancea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Isaias Matas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olavarria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Matas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The Sansargiller FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Oancea should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olavarria FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
