The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Boström was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Fernando Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Renan Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Melo having to make a save. A.A. Francana's Renan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Marinho in the 61st minute of play. When Charlie Boström came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the A.A. Francana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Boström couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patryk Ranowiecki in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Patryk Ranowiecki managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters rose to their feet, but Patryk Ranowiecki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Melo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The A.A. Francana supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.A. Francana would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
