Joaquín Guzmán was slow to take the kick. During this time DIPLOMATA FC PAB's players had a chance to rest. After 4 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Lara. In the 8th minute Roberto Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Martinescu in the 10th minute of play forced CA Boca Jrs MdP's goalkeeper Miguel Gonzales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Isaias Gaitano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaias Gaitano in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 19th minute, Olivier Gilg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Miguel Gonzales showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Lopes in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Niculae Martinescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Miguel Gonzales. CA Boca Jrs MdP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niculae Martinescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 37 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Olivier Gilg came free, but Miguel Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half DIPLOMATA FC PAB were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niculae Martinescu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton do Valle to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Lara. The audience was convinced that Isaias Gaitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Donato was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DIPLOMATA FC PAB had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
