The crowd rose to their feet as Hindås BF's Olov Matsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gugu Barreto. That made the score 2-0 after 25 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustão Félix in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Andreasson saved Hindås BF from getting behind. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Império Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gugu Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Andreasson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerônimo Varela went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustão Félix was the one to do the kick off. If Michel Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olívio Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Emanuel Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Hindås BF got a freekick which was hit by Michel Tham. A collision led to Hindås BF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Emil Hedin hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Duda Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Império Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Duda Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Magnus Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Lúcio Costa's late challenge caught a Hindås BF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Império Futebol Clube's Gugu Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Tham in the 85th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Império Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Fontes. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Michel Tham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hindås BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Tham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gugu Barreto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
