With a little luck, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Melquiades Sustrai got control of the ball when Ulysses Penha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tortinho were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Cuervos Negros Salvajes's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Otávio Amaral took the corner. Wesley Chaves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Sustrai came out and tried to block the shot, but Wesley Chaves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Amaral came free, but Melquiades Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Eurico Amaral notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Melquiades Sustrai. Melquiades Sustrai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Cuervos Negros Salvajes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jonatan Montxo hit a great ball. Angel Romildo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Melquiades Sustrai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Amaral went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 22nd match minute, Tortinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesley Chaves to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Erasmo Fidensio got a free kick in the 30th minute. Melquiades Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Eurico Amaral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Sustrai. That made the score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Maranhense in the 40th minute of play forced Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goalkeeper Melquiades Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Cuervos Negros Salvajes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Steven to maneuver through the defense. Ulysses Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Melquiades Sustrai made a huge save. The supporters of Cuervos Negros Salvajes booed when Tortinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Mattin made a kick off. Denílson Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Melquiades Sustrai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Chaves in the 60th minute of play forced Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goalkeeper Melquiades Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Amaral came free, but Melquiades Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Sustrai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eurico Amaral in the 64th minute of the match. Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Melquiades Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Amaral in the 64th minute of play. If Javier Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Gaspar Mantzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos Negros Salvajes and the Tortinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Gaspar Mantzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Javier Mattin in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tortinho's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th match minute, Cuervos Negros Salvajes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Romildo to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Sustrai having to interfere. Javier Mattin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonatan Montxo got free with Mané Paulista in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match Javier Mattin climbed in front of goal and pressed up 6-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Mané Paulista. 92 minutes into the match, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Amaral came free, but Melquiades Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Maranhense in the 95th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Pedro Abajas put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Cuervos Negros Salvajes getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Pedro Abajas hit a great ball. When Otávio Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Tortinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Amaral couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Tortinho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
