Erik Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Alungulesei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristinel Ştefulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Monteiro having to interfere. Marian Alungulesei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Monteiro having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Borussia Brasov's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Bezerra came free, but Ivan Hrandabur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Borussia Brasov's Ivan Hrandabur got control of the ball when Natanael Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marian Alungulesei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Monteiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdemar de Sousa in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Hrandabur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Borussia Brasov supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SaoPedro's performance. The match ended with a win for SaoPedro.
