Mané Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gyula Fejes in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tortinho's Wesley Chaves got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Gergely Újházi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The George United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gergely Újházi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Paulista having to interfere. István Földvári recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. István Földvári charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed István Földvári the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulysses Penha in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sándor Fodor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrik Kántor charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Kántor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes George United got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Kántor. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Ulysses Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tortinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulysses Penha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sándor Fodor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sándor Fodor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulysses Penha went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tortinho's goalkeeper Mané Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39thth minute of the game Gyula Fejes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tortinho's Mané Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 45 minutes, Bence Szalay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the George United and the Tortinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. George United's Gyula Fejes got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gyula Fejes made the kick off in the second half. Ulysses Penha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Sándor Fodor made a huge save. Tortinho's Mané Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gyula Fejes in the 58th minute of play. Mané Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Újházi in the 60th minute of the match. Sándor Fodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulysses Penha struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sándor Fodor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tortinho. In the 70th minute, Ulysses Penha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sándor Fodor. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 73rd minute Gergely Újházi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sándor Fodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Amaral in the 75th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gergely Újházi couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tortinho eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
