One of Borussia Brasov:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Central Coast Mariners:s goal. Cornel Demian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 方康剑 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ivan Hrandabur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 宋城希 in the 31st minute of play. Borussia Brasov's Ivan Hrandabur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Brasov from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, 苏兴渊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 秦悦诚 hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Borussia Brasov's Cornel Demian tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Borussia Brasov's Ivan Hrandabur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 宋城希 in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Alungulesei was the one to do the kick off. 庞烨斌 took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Hrandabur. Ivan Hrandabur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 宋城希 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Ivan Hrandabur was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 70 minutes into the game, Olimpiu Mincă was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Borussia Brasov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Central Coast Mariners the free kick. Borussia Brasov's attentive Olimpiu Mincă managed to snatch the ball when 余杰崇 made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. 宋城希 scored 5-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Hrandabur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 严建真 hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Central Coast Mariners's 方康剑 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Demian in the 80th minute of play. If 宋城希 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 方康剑 made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Cristinel Ştefulescu sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Central Coast Mariners had played much better football throughout.
