In the 18th minute of the match, Valdemar de Sousa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melquiades Sustrai saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Lucas Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, SaoPedro's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Beila came free, but Erik Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Sustrai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Bezerra in the 30th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cuervos Negros Salvajes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! If Lucas Beila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Melquiades Sustrai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cuervos Negros Salvajes from getting a goal against them. Javier Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Monteiro having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristian Steven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuervos Negros Salvajes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Steven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Javier Mattin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Javier Mattin to make the kick off. Gaspar Mantzio hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cristian Steven managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos Negros Salvajes's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Steven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Cuervos Negros Salvajes got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Eli. Melquiades Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Natanael Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Sustrai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Melquiades Sustrai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson da Silva in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of SaoPedro booed when Cuervos Negros Salvajes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SaoPedro's goalkeeper Erik Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erik Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Mattin went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Natanael Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cristian Steven took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Erik Monteiro to make any attempt to save it. 87 minutes into the match, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Alcântara came free, but Melquiades Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cuervos Negros Salvajes getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Erasmo Fidensio hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, SaoPedro's Wiliam Donatello broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
