An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Alcântara in the 47th minute of play forced Tortinho's goalkeeper Mané Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eurico Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SaoPedro getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eurico Amaral in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Monteiro saved SaoPedro from getting behind. The Tortinho fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Tortinho's Eurico Amaral looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tortinho's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
