In the 17thth minute of the game Eurico Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Central Coast Mariners's 方康剑 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 宋城希 in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mané Paulista saved Tortinho from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Tortinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Arantes to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, 宋城希 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mané Paulista. The goal made the score 4-0. 5-0 became the score in the 39th minute when 宋城希 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 余杰崇 kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Tortinho's goal looked a bit too open when 宋城希 came free, but Mané Paulista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The throw-in from Franklin Mendonça in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Central Coast Mariners's 曲延谦. In the 53rd minute, Wesley Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulysses Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 庞烨斌 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If 宋城希 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Tortinho defense, 宋城希 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mané Paulista. The Tortinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mané Paulista should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Tortinho booed when Central Coast Mariners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. 曲延谦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute 宋城希 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Eurico Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tortinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Central Coast Mariners the free kick. In the 75th match minute, Tortinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Amaral to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, 曹南正 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central Coast Mariners's supporters rose to their feet, but 曹南正 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Central Coast Mariners booed when Tortinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 宋城希 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Paulista having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, 宋城希 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mané Paulista. Tortinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 宋城希 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Central Coast Mariners's 刘岩谦 got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
