Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melquiades Sustrai, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Melquiades Sustrai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Império Futebol Clube's attentive Luís Fernando Prestes managed to snatch the ball when Jacobo Totakoxe made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Wilson Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Império Futebol Clube were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
