An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Alcântara in the 6th minute of play forced George United's goalkeeper Sándor Fodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gyula Fejes in the 7th minute of play forced SaoPedro's goalkeeper Erik Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Joélson da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, István Földvári had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Monteiro. SaoPedro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that István Földvári was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 15 minutes into the game, Gyula Fejes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Erik Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sándor Fodor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natanael Alcântara went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Bence Borsó kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Fabiano Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gyula Fejes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SaoPedro's Natanael Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sándor Fodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Bezerra in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, George United's Gergely Újházi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Natanael Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sándor Fodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute of the match SaoPedro got a corner. George United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wiliam Donatello ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, George United's Bence Szalay got a free kick in the 38th minute. George United's Sándor Fodor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save George United from getting a goal against them. Sándor Fodor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiano Bezerra in the 43rd minute of the match. If Fabiano Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 49th minute by Natanael Alcântara got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Natanael Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sándor Fodor having to interfere. István Földvári kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gyula Fejes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Alcântara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sándor Fodor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Fabiano Bezerra hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Gyula Fejes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Erik Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes SaoPedro got a freekick which was hit by Doriva Tavares. Joélson da Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joélson da Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in George United's zone, Natanael Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sándor Fodor came out of the goal and Natanael Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute Fabiano Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sándor Fodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gyula Fejes's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Valdemar de Sousa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SaoPedro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave George United the free kick. A collision led to SaoPedro getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Valdemar de Sousa hit a great ball. The SaoPedro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching George United's performance. The match ended with a win for George United.
