The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for George United. 29 minutes into the game, Wilson Meirelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Império Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave George United the free kick. A collision led to Império Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Wilson Meirelles hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gergely Újházi could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Gugu Barreto however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the George United defense, Wilson Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sándor Fodor. The George United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sándor Fodor should have stopped the shot. Gergely Újházi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gugu Barreto having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Péter Bolla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42ndth minute of the game Faustão Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but George United's Sándor Fodor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to George United getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gergely Újházi hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Faustão Félix put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sándor Fodor. A collision led to Império Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Olívio Cerezo hit a great ball. A very good chance for a goal. Faustão Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Sándor Fodor made a huge save. Sándor Fodor made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Faustão Félix sent off a good shot on target. Gugu Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gergely Újházi in the 82nd minute of the match. Gugu Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gergely Újházi in the 84th minute of play. Wilson Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Félix in the 92nd minute of play forced George United's goalkeeper Sándor Fodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Attila Molnár's late challenge caught a Império Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Attila Molnár helped the player get up and apologised. Attila Molnár hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Império Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
