When Central Coast Mariners's 宋城希 in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Efren Lorenzo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 42 minutes, Neto Palomar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beigondo SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neto Palomar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 秦悦诚 hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Juan Fuster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neto Palomar might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 方康剑. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Neto Palomar ran back to his position shaking his head. 48 minutes into the match, Central Coast Mariners's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Fuster came free, but 方康剑 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Fuster stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, 严建真 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Central Coast Mariners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beigondo SD the free kick. With an all-out effort, Beigondo SD's 方康剑 threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juan Fuster, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 方康剑 made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Casado Bajo sent off a good shot on target. When 严建真 was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. A collision led to Central Coast Mariners getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. 严建真 hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the game, Beigondo SD's Casado Bajo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 方康剑 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When Juan Fuster came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Beigondo SD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Fuster couldn't finish the play. 刘岩谦's late challenge caught a Beigondo SD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
