Wiliam Donatello's late challenge caught a Scylla G.C.E's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 28 minutes of play, Scylla G.C.E's Kauan de Senna made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Scylla G.C.E:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SaoPedro:s goal. Bo Eriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Eriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan de Senna to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Kauan de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. The Scylla G.C.E fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. 74 minutes into the match, Kauan de Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Monteiro. Scylla G.C.E's Kauan de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Scylla G.C.E had played much better football throughout.
