Jonatan Montxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Ştefulescu having to interfere. Cristinel Ştefulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Beila in the 19th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Javier Mattin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos Negros Salvajes and the Borussia Brasov players grew even worse after the yellow card. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Sustrai could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Beila during the 33rd minute. The supporters of Borussia Brasov booed when Cuervos Negros Salvajes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Borussia Brasov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristinel Ştefulescu should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Javier Mattin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Cuervos Negros Salvajes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatan Montxo to maneuver through the defense. Marin Surugiu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Melquiades Sustrai. Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Luca Nistorescu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Melquiades Sustrai. Melquiades Sustrai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Borussia Brasov getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Borussia Brasov's Cristinel Ştefulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Beila in the 81st minute of play. Ivan Hrandabur hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes, Cuervos Negros Salvajes's Lucas Beila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristinel Ştefulescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuervos Negros Salvajes reached it. Javier Mattin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Brasov's zone, Cristian Steven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Ştefulescu came out of the goal and Cristian Steven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristinel Ştefulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Beila in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Bleoancă in the 92nd minute of play forced Cuervos Negros Salvajes's goalkeeper Melquiades Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
