After a rather tough play, Borussia Brasov's Gigel Fărcașu got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the last second Mané Paulista throw himself and got hold of the ball when Nicolae Bleoancă in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cristi Bodea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Borussia Brasov's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tortinho's goalkeeper Mané Paulista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tortinho's Mané Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Tortinho from getting a goal against them. Cristi Bodea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mané Paulista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Bleoancă, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tortinho had won after a very even match.
