When Thiago Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Império Futebol Clube's protests and gave Thiago Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Thiago Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Faustão Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Império Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Félix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karadeniz Atasan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kubilay Çiftçibaşı had several of the Império Futebol Clube's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gugu Barreto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Império Futebol Clube's Cleiton Souza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ahmet Nedim Tulun in the 12 minute of the game. Kubilay Çiftçibaşı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Kubilay Çiftçibaşı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gugu Barreto. The goal made the score 2-0. Lúcio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Gugu Barreto was a little too slow when Kubilay Çiftçibaşı got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-0. Bayındır Mehmet Elhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Kubilay Çiftçibaşı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kubilay Çiftçibaşı to strike the kick off in the second half. Songur Yaman hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Cunha in the 53rd minute of play forced HacıBaba JK's goalkeeper Karadeniz Atasan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Bayındır Mehmet Elhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kubilay Çiftçibaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Kubilay Çiftçibaşı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from Lúcio Costa in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HacıBaba JK's Çakabey Tecen. Kubilay Çiftçibaşı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gugu Barreto having to make a save. Bayındır Mehmet Elhan charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bayındır Mehmet Elhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, HacıBaba JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bayındır Mehmet Elhan to maneuver through the defense. If Kubilay Çiftçibaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Faustão Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karadeniz Atasan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gugu Barreto came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by HacıBaba JK's Kubilay Çiftçibaşı. But to his dismay, Kubilay Çiftçibaşı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The HacıBaba JK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
