SaoPedro's Erik Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Nacu in the 45th minute of play.

55 minutes into the match, SaoPedro's goalkeeper Erik Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Bleoancă. Nicolae Bleoancă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Monteiro having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Bezerra in the 82nd minute of play forced Borussia Brasov's goalkeeper Cristinel Ştefulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Borussia Brasov getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ionuț Bădulescu hit a great ball. SaoPedro's Natanael Alcântara managed to work through Borussia Brasov's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Natanael Alcântara dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 87th match minute, Borussia Brasov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Hrandabur to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Borussia Brasov had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
