A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Thiago Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Império Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Brasov the free kick. A collision led to Império Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Thiago Ribeiro hit a great ball. If Faustão Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Império Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Fontes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Império Futebol Clube's zone, Nicolae Bleoancă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gugu Barreto came out of the goal and Nicolae Bleoancă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolae Bleoancă took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gugu Barreto. Gugu Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolae Bleoancă to make the kick off. Olívio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Olívio Cerezo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Cristinel Ştefulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 73 minutes of play, Império Futebol Clube's Jerônimo Varela made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
