Borussia Brasov's Cristinel Ştefulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Damar in the 11th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Borussia Brasov's Garcia Ribero threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luca Nistorescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Corneliu Nacu succeeded in the game's 19th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Ariguapa's goalkeeper Garcia Ribero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolae Bleoancă. In the 24thth minute of the game Bertran Lizundia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Brasov's Cristinel Ştefulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicolae Bleoancă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Garcia Ribero made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Borussia Brasov's Corneliu Nacu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gualterio Morera in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristinel Ştefulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Borussia Brasov's Corneliu Nacu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Garcia Ribero. Garcia Ribero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Garcia Ribero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corneliu Nacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Brasov's zone, Gualterio Morera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristinel Ştefulescu came out of the goal and Gualterio Morera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristinel Ştefulescu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gualterio Morera sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the game, Borussia Brasov's Nicolae Bleoancă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Garcia Ribero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 66 minutes, Cisco Villafuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ariguapa and the Borussia Brasov players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Borussia Brasov booed when Ariguapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cisco Villafuentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristinel Ştefulescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gualterio Morera showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 68 minute of play. A collision led to Ariguapa getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Martxel Ocasio hit a great ball.
