Homero Thomson might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remo Totti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Homero Thomson ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaspar Matro charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Matro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to TZILACATZIN getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Gaspar Matro hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Conrad Dötsch shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edinho Lira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Remo Totti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Cabrera in the 10th minute of the match. When TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VFR Stommeln's goalie prevented a goal. Remo Totti was a little too slow when Daniel Cabrera got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Cabrera in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo Totti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cabrera in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Totti saved VFR Stommeln from getting behind. After 23 minutes of play, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo Totti was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th minute, TZILACATZIN's Daniel Cabrera dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 30th minute, Hipolito Tiso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Homero Thomson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remo Totti having to make a save. If Daniel Cabrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remo Totti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Homero Thomson went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. TZILACATZIN's Albino Calisto was substituted for Gaspar Matro. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Rudolf Jeske made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cabrera in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Totti saved VFR Stommeln from getting behind. TZILACATZIN were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after VFR Stommeln's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Victoriano Distiratsu took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Birger Jespersson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Daniel Cabrera took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo Totti. Remo Totti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Remo Totti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Cabrera's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Cabrera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo Totti was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. After 67 played minutes VFR Stommeln got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Hotze. Remo Totti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Rencio in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Cabrera in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remo Totti saved VFR Stommeln from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Daniel Cabrera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remo Totti was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 76 minutes in the game Conrad Dötsch did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Otis Bockisch. When Karol Sauk came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the VFR Stommeln fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Sauk couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the VFR Stommeln defense, Salvadore González kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Totti. The VFR Stommeln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Totti should have stopped the shot. Homero Thomson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Totti having to interfere.
