Lucian Cosor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Capello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucian Cosor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Bruno Capello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lucian Cosor to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute, Los Trip's Bruno Capello dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Lucian Cosor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Capello in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute of the game Piotr Ligas made a throw-in which Jacek Brodzki played forward. Bruno Capello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lucian Cosor made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulryk Mis in the 38th minute of play forced Los Trip's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sosnowiec Pawiak's zone, Bruno Capello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucian Cosor came out of the goal and Bruno Capello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Piotr Ligas made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Los Trip's Edelmiro Neto. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Bruno Capello took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Lucian Cosor to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Narcis Pârlea made the kick off in the second half. Piotr Ligas got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jacek Brodzki. Los Trip's Bruno Capello got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, Sosnowiec Pawiak's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Capello came free, but Lucian Cosor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Trip made a substitution.
