The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zsolt Kuncz made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Boleslaw Zielinski sent off a good shot on target. Zsolt Kuncz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Lyons's Luisito Quinten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitinho Faria in the 9th minute of play. Lyons's Austin Muller got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Zsolt Kuncz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boleslaw Zielinski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Zsolt Kuncz made a huge save. In the 17th minute Lyons were awarded a corner. Marcos Berasko went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Marcos Berasko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zsolt Kuncz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ágyúsok FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Boleslaw Zielinski scored to the left of an out of position Zsolt Kuncz, making the score, 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's Áron Ramsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Quinten narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 33rd minute of play forced Ágyúsok FC's goalkeeper Zsolt Kuncz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boleslaw Zielinski in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zsolt Kuncz saved Ágyúsok FC from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Louison Bertheau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ágyúsok FC's Márk Pálfi got a free kick in the 40th minute. Marcos Berasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boleslaw Zielinski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ágyúsok FC's Zsolt Kuncz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 played minutes Ágyúsok FC got a freekick which was hit by Áron Ramsey. Luisito Quinten made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Áron Ramsey sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Lyons booed when Ágyúsok FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louison Bertheau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gergely Kalmár's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisito Quinten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. György Pálfi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Luisito Quinten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lyons's Dariusz Roano was substituted for Boleslaw Zielinski. Zsolt Kuncz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Roano in the 76th minute of the match. Zsolt Kuncz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Roano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Ágyúsok FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Roano came free, but Zsolt Kuncz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ágyúsok FC fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Ágyúsok FC's György Pálfi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Roano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zsolt Kuncz was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Dariusz Roano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsolt Kuncz having to interfere.
