Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Obrero Barquisimeto's Marcos Akerman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Obrero Barquisimeto got a freekick which was hit by Odilon Marcha. In the 18th match minute, SeleSantos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Seco to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Akerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dinei Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Aílton Seco hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Marcos Akerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aílton Seco made in the 27th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jacobo Casado. Obrero Barquisimeto's Odilon Marcha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aílton Seco, made in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Akerman in the 34th minute of play forced SeleSantos FC's goalkeeper Dinei Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Marcos Akerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Akerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute, Marcos Akerman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dinei Pinheiro. The goal made the score 1-0. Dinei Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Akerman in the 43rd minute of play. Odilon Marcha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Niilo Mikkola didn't quite understand what happened when in the 48 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leif Törnqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. João Pedro Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Marcos Akerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinei Pinheiro. Dinei Pinheiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Akerman in the 95th minute of the match. Obrero Barquisimeto's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
