Ralf Albäck made a great header on ATHLETICO PRaiano's corner, it was just that Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho managed to reach the ball for a save. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pepe Pancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mark Ambjörnsson to make the kick off. A collision led to Challestone S.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Walmir Tasso hit a great ball. The supporters of ATHLETICO PRaiano booed when Challestone S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin Tenorio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Mark Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Challestone S.C.'s Pepe Pancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralf Albäck in the 60th minute of play. Pepe Pancho stood somewhat misplaced when Ralf Albäck came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 62 minute. Ralf Albäck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pepe Pancho came out and tried to block the shot, but Ralf Albäck slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 64th minute. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Prosinečki, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Pepe Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Albäck, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Challestone S.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Pancho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Robert Prosinečki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Challestone S.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATHLETICO PRaiano the free kick. Robert Prosinečki hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ATHLETICO PRaiano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
