ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregorio Urtsin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Argentina's Benedicto Naelio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ceferino Nalo got a throw-in 14 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Benedicto Naelio. Roberto Layton came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentina's Benedicto Naelio. But to his dismay, Benedicto Naelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roberto Layton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Naelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Carlo Darrigrande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carlo Darrigrande could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lev Yashin made a huge save. Carlo Darrigrande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lev Yashin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Argentina's Benedicto Naelio in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benedicto Naelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Layton having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Naelio came free, but Roberto Layton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlo Darrigrande stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Benedicto Naelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Naelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Layton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Nalo hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Paolo-César Maldini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Argentina's Benedicto Naelio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Layton. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. Peter Swan replaced Carlo Darrigrande. If Benedicto Naelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Layton made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Loco Durazno sent off a good shot on target. Loco Durazno scored 0-4 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Layton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Swan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Swan in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Argentina could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ throughout the match.
