Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terry Jamieson in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terry Jamieson in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Branislav Velchevski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Gabon in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Terry Jamieson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Branislav Velchevski. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Terry Jamieson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Francis in the 38th minute of play. Celso Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Gabon in the 41st minute of the match. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Jamieson in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Terry Jamieson scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Branislav Velchevski who was too lazy, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enzo Tono stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Branislav Velchevski. 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Milferio fans cheered their team off the field, for while ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
