The supporters of Estudiantes de América booed when Funebrero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Szymon Pilitowski came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Szymon Pilitowski couldn't finish the play. Rodrigo Ongile made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cornelio Ruisko in the 16th minute. Kraig Fred succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 18th playminute. Funebrero FC's Rodrigo Ongile proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Funebrero FC from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, Estudiantes de América's Szymon Pilitowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Basilio Valiente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Marcos Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Kraig Fred notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Funebrero FC's Rodrigo Ongile. Rodrigo Ongile was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 47 minutes, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kraig Fred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Valiente to make the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Ongile showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Cornelio Ruisko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Funebrero FC's Rodrigo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szymon Pilitowski in the 77th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Orlando Beltza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Ongile was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. It was a well-played corner which Orlando Beltza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Estudiantes de América's Korneliusz Miodek got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Concetto Trasatti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 12-0. Korneliusz Miodek took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Ongile. Rodrigo Ongile dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. After 95 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Traian Blăniță made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Estudiantes de América had played much better football throughout.
