In the 27th minute Milferio were awarded a corner. Terry Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Qi Di Di heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Terry Jamieson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terry Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terry Jamieson in the 31st minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Milferio's Terry Jamieson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Ranolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Terry Jamieson in the 37th minute. Lam Elo got a throw-in 39 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cornelio Ruisko. Kraig Fred might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celso Javiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kraig Fred ran back to his position shaking his head. Milferio's Celso Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 40th minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Jamieson in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Estudiantes de América made a substitution. Traian Blăniță replaced Cornelio Ruisko. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Beltza to make the kick off. Celso Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Blăniță in the 56th minute of play. If Orlando Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 61st minute, but Celso Javiar got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Milferio hanging dry this time. Concetto Trasatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Celso Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Lucjan Degutis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milferio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Degutis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Estudiantes de América's Celso Javiar threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orlando Beltza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milferio's goalkeeper Celso Javiar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florencio Ermengol hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Terry Jamieson in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Ranolfo saved Estudiantes de América from getting behind. Celso Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Trasatti in the 81st minute of the match. Jonatan Iraitz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Milferio's Jonatan Iraitz got a free kick in the 86th minute. Celso Javiar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Beltza in the 89th minute. Milferio's Prospero Avellaneda was substituted for Jonatan Iraitz. Saverio Iraitz made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Concetto Trasatti immediately put the ball in play. Qi Di Di sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Herensuge in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Ranolfo saved Estudiantes de América from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Milferio fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estudiantes de América had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
