The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Funebrero FC defense, Ramon Pueblo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. The Funebrero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Ongile should have stopped the shot. Ramon Pueblo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodrigo Ongile read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Arlo in the 11th minute of play forced Funebrero FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Pueblo in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Ongile prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 18th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Ramon Pueblo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. Funebrero FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramon Pueblo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 24th minute, Ramon Pueblo made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ramon Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Ongile having to interfere. After the first half BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramon Pueblo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Arlo hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, Ramon Pueblo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Ongile. Ramon Pueblo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 56th minute, Ramon Pueblo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Rodrigo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Arlo in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's Cirilo Arlo made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigo Ongile didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Pueblo went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute, Ramon Pueblo made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Ongile. Funebrero FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. With a little luck, Funebrero FC's Rodrigo Ongile got control of the ball when David Forsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Ramon Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Pueblo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Ongile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Pueblo in the 87th minute of the match. Rodrigo Ongile was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ramon Pueblo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 90 minute of play. A collision led to BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Mauricio Ticho hit a great ball. BORBOTONES FUTBOL CLUB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
