In the 14th minute of the match, Andrew Carrillos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelio Walme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Victoria Mlawa were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zula Burdzel took the corner. 17 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Aurelio Walme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vítor Félix. 19 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Alström came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Walter Van Mechelen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrew Carrillos in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Walme saved S.E.R. Caxias do Sul from getting behind. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme got control of the ball when Andrew Carrillos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Alström came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Alström in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Walme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victoria Mlawa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Zula Burdzel in the 42nd minute. Aurelio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Alström, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovani Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Felix Alström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria Mlawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 62 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Carrillos came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovani Medeiros in the 64th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Andrew Carrillos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Walme. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Carrillos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Daniel Owsiak kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Victoria Mlawa's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
