A throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game was made by Fábio Lobato with Torcato Rebocho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 6th minute Kaj Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Kaj Skager fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ignatius Casasola, passed just outside the right post. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Skager in the 12th minute of play. Dochko Rodev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Teves in the 13th minute of play. After 15 minutes Club Atletico Los Andes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salvador Lousada who took care of the corner kick. Ignatius Casasola came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager. But to his dismay, Kaj Skager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the game, Virgílio Teves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dochko Rodev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 29 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Los Andes's Kaj Skager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ignatius Casasola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaj Skager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ignatius Casasola made a huge save. Ignatius Casasola stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaj Skager's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Kaj Skager scored 2-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignatius Casasola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Orlando Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Skager in the 55th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Garanhão do SUL made a substitution. Angel Edorta replaced 龙然明. In the 64th minute, Casper Martinsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dochko Rodev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torcato Rebocho in the 69th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgílio Teves in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dochko Rodev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atletico Los Andes's Orlando Inautzi got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garanhão do SUL's André Roriz was substituted for Edgar Costa. Club Atletico Los Andes's Fabio Peli was substituted for Montrell Abeita. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Skager, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Orlando Inautzi struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ignatius Casasola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Los Andes. Club Atletico Los Andes made a substitution. Steven Garner-Currie replaced Jonas Marcos. Dochko Rodev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Kefallinos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A well placed Torcato Rebocho short distance shot in the 89th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. A hard shot 93 in the game by André Roriz from a close distance when the talented Dochko Rodev managed to make a qualified save. Club Atletico Los Andes's players were relieved. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Skager, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garanhão do SUL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atletico Los Andes.
