After 14 minutes SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Walter Van Mechelen who took care of the corner kick. Victoria Mlawa's Walter Van Mechelen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erivaldo Catarinense in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Victoria Mlawa's Bogumil Tamulewicz got a free kick in the 18th minute. Neil Mcinnes took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kryspin Dembkowski. Kryspin Dembkowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bogumil Tamulewicz made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vítor Félix however managed to control. Erivaldo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Carrillos in the 31st minute of play. Victoria Mlawa's Kryspin Dembkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Mcinnes in the 35th minute of play. Bartholemew Quigley made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vítor Félix. Hulki Balta kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Seçkin Ünlüol sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andrew Carrillos was the one to do the kick off. Bogumil Tamulewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s Edvaldo Motta was substituted for Dinei Tinoco. The supporters of SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. booed when Victoria Mlawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Tamulewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neil Mcinnes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kryspin Dembkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Neil Mcinnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Dembkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartholemew Quigley kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Kazimierz Golota was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Victoria Mlawa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Kryspin Dembkowski had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Neil Mcinnes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
