The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawel Sobolewski got free with Aurelio Walme in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gary Ingram showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lei Feng Yan in the 44th minute of the match. Gary Ingram took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lei Feng Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovani Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Korona Kielce's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Medeiros came free, but Gary Ingram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Edmílson Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Walme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Firmino, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Lei Feng Yan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gary Ingram, 1-2.
