In the 16thth minute of the game Lei Feng Yan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1. FC Krotoszyn's Cengizhan Şahistan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lei Feng Yan in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cengizhan Şahistan saved 1. FC Krotoszyn from getting behind. If Krzysztof Sliwinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Owsiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cengizhan Şahistan having to make a save. Cengizhan Şahistan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Owsiak in the 22nd minute of play. Geovani Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cengizhan Şahistan having to interfere. Ricardinho de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. With a little luck, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Aurelio Walme got control of the ball when Jerzy Urban tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Geovani Medeiros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cengizhan Şahistan was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Geovani Medeiros sped through 1. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani Medeiros made a kick off. Cengizhan Şahistan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lei Feng Yan in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute Geovani Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cengizhan Şahistan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani Medeiros in the 56th minute of the match. 1. FC Krotoszyn's Cengizhan Şahistan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Krotoszyn from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cengizhan Şahistan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caxias do Sul's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
